Michael and Matthew have each built businesses and technology in the real world. Their experience across consulting, product development, engineering and implementation shapes how Glivent approaches every engagement: understand the business properly, identify what will make a meaningful difference, and build systems designed to last.
Co-founder
Michael Crapis
Michael is Co-Founder of Glivent and leads the engineering and technical implementation behind the company's solutions. An electronics engineer by training, he graduated from the University of Technology Sydney with Dean's List recognition and has built his career across embedded electronics, firmware, mobile applications, cloud technologies and custom software engineering.
A serial entrepreneur, Michael has founded and grown multiple technology ventures spanning electronics engineering, software development and product innovation, including Zeus Design and Zeutek 3D Printing. Through these businesses, he has helped deliver more than 100 engineering and product development projects across industries while also creating and launching his own technology products.
At Glivent, Michael specialises in secure AI infrastructure, workflow automation and bespoke software solutions that integrate seamlessly into existing business operations. His combination of engineering expertise and entrepreneurial experience enables him to design systems that are not only technically robust but commercially practical, scalable and built for long-term success.

Matthew Falcomata
Matthew is Co-Founder of Glivent and an AI consultant who works with organisations to identify opportunities where artificial intelligence can create meaningful operational improvements. Combining a background in psychology, business process improvement and AI, he helps businesses understand how they operate before designing practical systems that reduce repetitive work, improve visibility and enable teams to adopt AI with confidence.
His philosophy is that successful AI initiatives begin with understanding people and processes, not simply implementing new technology. Every engagement starts by uncovering operational friction and identifying where automation, AI and better workflows can deliver measurable long-term value.
Alongside Glivent, Matthew created Embodifi, an AI-powered storytelling platform designed to help children express thoughts and emotions through personalised stories. Building AI products from the ground up has provided hands-on experience designing, deploying and continuously refining AI systems for real-world use. As both an AI consultant and product builder, he brings a practical, implementation-focused perspective to every client engagement.
